Services are back online in the new server. We started post migration checks and no interruptions are expected.

We updated the DNS configuraton for:
- slap.vifib.com should be now 51.159.2.66 and 2a11:9ac0:40:4001::c
- slap.rapid.space should be now 51.159.2.66 and 2a11:9ac0:40:4001::c
- api.vifib.com should be now 51.159.2.66 and 2a11:9ac0:40:4001::c
- slap.rapid.space should be now 51.159.2.66 and 2a11:9ac0:40:4001::c
All network traffic is been rooted from the new server to the current production server, until the migration is over. Once Migration is over, the old IPs will be available for a few days and it will be dropped.
2026-08-26 17:00 UTC (19:00 CEST): Migration of Rapid Space master (a.k.a SlapOS Master) to a new server
We are going to migrate the Rapid Space master (a.k.a SlapOS Master) setup into a new server, in order to improve server reliability and improve monitoring.
The operation was planned to minimise impact on people working (in office hours), taking place outside office hours. As all data (databases and files) will be moved from one server to another, a few hours of downtime are expected.

During the downtime, servers using the API (command line and computer partitions) may fail to report or request services. They will resume normal operation automatically once the migration is finished.
An update will be posted here when the migration is started and done.
